Connaught Place is the main shopping area of central Delhi. The complex, popularly referred to as C.P. is an important meeting point for all sections of people and is something you should not miss if for its architecture and Delhi's buzzing population. For architecture, it's better to come really early in the morning so at least the view is not blocked by the hundreds of cars and other vehicles parked here, even though the buildings have been quite sullied with the billboards that plaster every inch of the walls and pillars.

Its galleries and columns make it a good specimen of colonial architecture. Most big brands have a shop here but you will also find some of the older local shops here, like Wenger's

pastry shop.
