Maas view!

WritingTravellers open guidebooks: written by travellers and locals, printed specially for you.
The Meuse (Maas in Dutch and German language) is an European river, rising in France and flowing through Belgium and the Netherlands (First in Maastricht and then in Rotterdam harbour).

Maastricht is named by the Maas, which is important in the cities' 'look and feel'.

Hi Dirk,
Thanks for your contributions about the beautiful city of Maastricht. Could you give a more precise source for the picture? See for example this item. And be careful with copying text from Wikipedia since the licenses of Wikipedia and WritingTravellers are not compatible. Make sure you rephrase the text into your own words.

Hi Ferdinand,

Thanks for your comment. Of course I will check the content. At this moment I see my contributions as a kind of practice. So there's a lot to learn I think.

Hi Dirk,

You are absolutely doing fine. Being careful with copyrights is just a difficult but important success factor for WritingTravellers. Thanks for the changes!

Hi,

I don't know if this the appropriate place to discuss this. But isn't it an idea to ask the (FlickR) sources for permission to attent those people of this project, interesting them, create desire and perhaps let them participate? It's just a suggestion.

Hi Dirk, we tried several ways to inform people on FLickr about WritingTravellers. We did postings in relevant groups and we started a group about WritingTravellers. Many registered users of WritingTravellers found this site via Flickr. Your suggestions to do more are welcome.

By the way, the license of the picture you added to this item is not compatible with the WritingTravellers(WT) license. It is a Attribution-Noncommercial license and WT uses the Attribution - Share alike. Have a look on the edit-page of this item to see what licenses you can use on WritingTravellers. If you use the link to Flickr provided at the edit-page, you will automatically search only for pictures with compatible licenses. How about one of these pictures as a replacement?
