Government Last Elections in Delhi

As a special region that is both a independent state and the national capital, the National Capital Territory (NCT/NCR) of Delhi has its own State Assembly, Lieutenant Governor, Council of Ministers and Chief Minister. Last direct elections for the State Assembly were won by the Congress Party led in Delhi by Sheila Dixit the Chief Minister of the state, who won although the big competitor BJP won in many surrounding states.
